This is a gorgeous Asian red lacquer and mother of pearl inlay and black lacquer jewelry box in excellent condition. 

It has no damage; any marks in the photos are from the high gloss enamel reflecting the lighting, not damage of any kind.  The box measures approximately 7  3/4 inches in length by 4 inches across and is about 2 inches in height.  It opens to a nice large clear glass mirror in the lid and red velvet interior lining.

There are no manufacturer hallmarks that we could find.  A great piece for jewelry or trinket storage.
